Sofia Gregory was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Her first performance was at age 6 in The Music Man, she had one line, "The trolley is coming." It was love at first rehearsal.
Eventually attending The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Sofia developed a passion for straight plays. She performed works from Shakespeare and Molière to Beckett and Brecht. She honed her craft through training in Suzuki/Viewpoints, Voice/Speech, Dance, and Script Analysis. Performing at many theaters around LA like the Barnsdall Art Park and the Shakespeare Center of LA, Sofia was eager to pursue everything the theatre world had to offer.
At The New School for Drama in Manhattan she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and grew her artistic capabilities by exploring directing and writing.
Sofia also minored in Gender Studies and is deeply passionate about issues pertaining to social justice.
Upon graduation, Sofia returned home to Los Angeles where she has continued to study with coaches like Bobby Moresco and Lesly Kahn. When she is not acting, you can find Sofia rock climbing at her local gym.
